IYC Logo
We are pleased to share the official logo for the 2012 International Year of Co-operatives (IYC).
The logo, which is various shades of orange and red, depicts seven people- representing the seven co-operative principles- holding up a cube or building block and illustrating the theme of the International Year, Co-operative enterprises build a better world.
The Canadian Co-operative Association has created a hyphenated version of the official English 2012 logo and graphic tagline. We have made hyphenated versions of the 2012 logo and graphic tagline in all of the same formats created by the United Nations (UN). All versions of the English (both hyphenated and non-hyphenated) and the French logos are now available.
While we are making the logos accessible, we urge you to click on this link: UN logo use guidelines. Please review the guidelines before using the logo as this document details proper uses and design parameters for the logo and graphic tagline. We are committed to working in co-operation with the UN and the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) to maintain the integrity of the 2012 logo.
To download PNG versions, click the image and save any of the logo versions below. Please note that you have to email:iyc2012@coopscanada.coop to request the high resolution EPS and reverse versions of the logo.
