What is a webcast?
A webcast is like a television broadcast, except it occurs over the Internet. Think of the Canadian launch as a live internet broadcast.
Where can I view the webcast?
Visit s.coop/canada2012live. Click the button that says "Watch the live broadcast!" You will be redirected to the webcast registration page. Fill in the required information and it will take you to all of the available webcast streams - English, French, and a bilingual stream without translation.
How long is the webcast?
The webcast lasts 30 minutes and is jam-packed with exciting and fun things for you to watch and do.
What languages can I watch the webcast in?
We have taken extra care to ensure that English and French speaking Canadians can enjoy the live national broadcast on January 12. Three options will be available. You watch the broadcast in English, with all French portions simultaneously translated. You can watch the broadcast in French, with all English portions simultaneously translated. Or, you can watch the broadcast in both official languages - without translation.

Is it free to view the webcast?
Yes, the webcast is absolutely free and we encourage everyone to join us on January 12!
Why do I need to register to view the webcast?
There is a very short registration form that needs to be filled out before you can get the webcast player page. This is because we want to know how many people view our webcast and from where. That way, when the event is done, we can share these stats with the rest of Canada.
We encourage you to log on and register in advance so that you can tune in without worry at 12:30 pm EST on January 12, 2012.
What if I can't watch the webcast on January 12?
No problem! It will be archived on our website and accessible 24 hours a day after the live launch. Just visit s.coop/canada2012live.
